Currently under construction the Oasis of the Seas will become the largest cruise liner ever built. It’ll include a state-of-the-art travelling city complete with a shopping mall, numerous bars and restaurants, and an outdoor amphitheatre the size of a football field with its own micro-climate and rock-climbing walls. All this will be packed into the 1,081ft long boat.
She is currently being built at a cost of £610million (about 2 billion dollars) in Aker Yards in Turku, Finland and is due to set sail next year. The cruise liner is scheduled to hit the seas in late 2009, when she will operate Caribbean cruises out of Port Everglades in Florida.

I was in the US Merchant Marine From 1944 To 1955.
My wife and I vacationed on Your Ship The Song of Norway.
Great ship great fun. From a designers out look your Ship is wonderful; But from a safety point of view I wonder. Every large ships rolls & pitches in storms or high seas. People who have been drinking and older People at upper levels with a Balcony facing inboard with a roll of Plus - Minus 25 to 35 Deg.; could create lose of life or Bad injuries. There are many more problem’s. Safety of passengers comes first.
Wish you well At Sea
