With distributed pressure areas that beat with the music that you listen to, Jorge Furuya has developed (with Vanessa Sattele) an MP3 player design that not only is wearable, but actually envelops you in the form of a jacket.  The controls on the arm provide display of your playlist, clock, alarm, chronometer and music rhythm. The design won honorable mention in a short contest sponsored by Core77 and Popular Science Magazine.

Designer Jake Loniak’s “Wearable Motorcycle” concept is something totally unique, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s a motorcycle that you actually fit into. I can’t see anything like this remotely close to hitting the mainstream, but is definitally a fun concept that would be a thrill to drive.

For the past few weeks I’ve seen several one-wheeled motorcycle concepts but it’s about time we’ve seen one that’s real. Here’s the UnoCycle, a single-wheel, single-rider vehicle that appears to be based on gyroscopic technology similar to a Segway and, more importantly, has photographic evidence of its existence.

Still in development, the Uno’s top speed is 15 mph, but the inventor, Ben Gulak, suspects it could go as high as 40. That’s no Harley, but it’s faster than a Segway, and remember this is a battery-powered machine that you never need to fill up.
