The latest new design concept unfolded by Lamborghini has also created quite a stir among car lovers round the world.  The brand new Insecta design concept by Lamborghini is an eclectic blend of sleek looks and high speed design performance.

This Insecta concept was designed by Iuliam Bumbu, a Romanian automobile designer. As the name suggests this car has been to some extent inspired by insects. Some species of insects carry a sort of protective armor. This car from the Lamborghini stable recreates that protective shield for this Insecta sports car. This high performance sports car has an angular, yet fluid look. It superb design has been applauded by critics round the world. The scissor opening doors of car are inherent features of any Lamborghini car. Thus, the sweeping style of this car bears the quintessential trademark of Lamborghini but yet, there is some thing unique and fresh about the design of this car.

Since the dimensions of Lamborghini Insecta is quite similar to another popular car from the Lamborghini stable, the Lamborghini Gallardo it is quite natural that people will inevitably compare the two. Both the cars have the same length of 169 inches. Not only that, the engines fuelling both these super cars is the same V10 engine found in Gallardo which has 5.0 litre fuel capacity. But there are some fine discerning points which set the Lamborghini Insecta quite apart from the Lamborghini Gallardo. The Insecta has a much better and wider wheel base and a wider width which makes it a better design than the Gallardo as a sports car. The Insecta is an extremely lightweight car and to keep its weight under control some portions of the car has been built with especially made carbon fiber. This new concept car has been codenamed HED-6. When the world is reeling from recession and most automobile manufactures are making pay-cuts and reducing their work force, this new concept car from the Hyundai stable testifies the fact that Hyundai has no intention of slowing down from the fast track.

The HED-6 by Hyundai has a dynamic and compact look which would surely woo you. This new SUV concept car has been designed at Russelsheim in Germany which houses the European design headquarters of Hyundai. The Unique Selling Point of the HED-6 design is that it combines a muscular sturdiness with an elegant uber-cool look. The high dramatic look of this car is augmented by its angular design and hexagonal grille. However, the glowing back-swept front headlamps along with the 21-inch alloy wheels with stylish mirror polish enhance the appeal of this dynamic car design to a great extent.

Hyundai plans to make the HED-6 their show stopper in the upcoming World Automobile Fair to be held in Geneva on March 3rd. They have also developed a special super-shine metallic finish paint to enhance the glamorous look of the car which would surely grab center stage in the automobile fair.

The new SUV concept car from Hyundai is not merely elegant, but it also boasts of some great features like LED daytime running lights. The HED-6 would surely make driving a sheer pleasure with its 175 HP, 1.6-litre GDi turbocharged engine. HED-6 is slated to be a front runner among the next generation of Hyundai SUVs.
