All of these companies that make the gadgety type boards don’t realise something.
Surfing is elegantly simple. Thats why longboards are similar.

I’ll second Jamis.
To me, the perfect setup contains enough rough edges to make the ride interesting. Many of these boards, like that BMW skate a while back, attempt to engineer them out, leaving less room for expression.
