Rinspeed ‘iChange’: The iPod driven car.

Swiss Automobile maker company Rinspeed is famous for its iconoclastic designs. Recently, this famed company have exceeded themselves and come up with a unique automobile concept design which has taken the entire automobile world by storm. The Rinspeed ‘iChange’ is a unique automobile designed concept which is actually a power house of various path breaking concepts.

The Rinspeed ‘iChange’ is a car which can be virtually controlled by the instructions given through an iPod. So now, in order to drive Rinspeed ‘iChange’ car you need not carry a hackneyed set of car keys. All you need to do is to carry your Apple iPhone with you and Voila!! You can plug your Apple iPhone into the dashboard start this car in a jiffy. This apparent miracle is possible because in this amazing car the Apple iPhone controls the key vehicle functions.

The amazing Rinspeed ‘iChange’ can work both as a sports car and a family car. If you want to just go on a long drive on your own you can use this car as a single-seater sports car. However, if you want to carry some friends and family along with you then you need not worry. The rear end of the car is installed with a tear shaped panel and two extra seats are hidden under that panel. If you so desire, you can just press a button and pop up the panel and the two rear seats would unfold themselves to accommodate more passengers in the car.

The Rinspeed ‘iChange’ is an extremely lightweight car weighing only 2,314 pounds and hence its fuel consumption needs are also quite economical. This sleek looking car is powered by an electric motor. Not only that, this amazing car can also boast of solar paneling which would be able to provide electricity for the air conditioning system of the car.

    I drive a crappy car, ’94 corolla. It does not have any CD input but it does have a car charger. Which ipod charger transmitter is best recommended for this type of car ? i wanna be able to play my own music through my ipod. oh and I have an 80gb iPod classic. I heard if u dont use the right one, it can fck up your ipod.

    They should enable the car to follow the directions set into the GPS of the i phone then the car could just take you to your destination without the driver having to do anything but plug in the ipod and tell the car to go. That would be great for disabled people or elderly people who can’t drive well. They could just control the break pedal for stop lights or emergencies. The car could have sensors on all sides so it would know when to slow down, speed up or change lanes in traffic. Eventually they could have a camera wired in to the bumper that the computer could use to even park the car once the destination is reached. Now that would be cool!!
