Getting accurate measurements is crucial for any project. It could be the difference between a job well done and a complete meltdown. The Digital Measuring Tape features a large easy-to-read display that is capable of memorizing your measurements with the push of a button. It can give measurements in either feet and inches or metric units and will even display fractions of an inch (as small as 1/16th) just like a standard tape measure. There is also a setting for adding the case length for taking inside measurements. Suzuki Starts Production Of Hydrogen Powered Motorcycle

Finally Suzuki has decided to put their Crossgate concept into production. But that’s not the only good news. The Crossgate is also going to be hydrogen powered, a huge plus for all the environmentalists out there. The crosscage concept motorcycle fuel-cell motorcycle is a simple, compact, lightweight air-cooled fuel-cell system and a high-performance secondary battery are brought together in a way that realizes optimal power control. Trak - The Portable Printer

Printers have always been big and boxy, and have always required millions or cords. Introducing the new “Trak” by designer Hung Chih Wang. Never before has a printer been operated entirely from the back of a laptop display. The Trak printer features a detachable printer head, powered by USB. It looks as though you simply feed the paper through the top of the printer and woo-la! A perfect idea for travelers. No date as to when this concept would be put into production. AZ Island, A Floating World Concept

The company Alstom Marine and architect Jean-Philippe Zoppini are working together on an ambitious futuristic project: AZ Island. This titanic project for a high-tech, artificial island capable of movement.

If AZ Island eventually sees the light of day, it will measure 400 meters long by 300 meters wide and be able to welcome up to 10,000 passengers. The ovoid island’s shape and size - 29 floors high and a surface area equivalent to 4 football fields - will necessarily limit its speed (4 times slower than a cruise ship). Obviously, the island will be too large to berth. A boat or helicopter will therefore be needed to access its cabin; for this reason, a landing pad and marina have been planned.
