Nike launches a new shoe in February 2008 which uses recycled scrap waste from Nike’s own production facilities. You wouldn’t think a Nike shoe made out of scrap would look good, but it does. Enough that the Pheonix Suns point guard Steve Nash endorses them. The new Nike ‘Trash Talk’ is on retail for $100, a shoe that clearly illustrates how a company like Nike can spin it’s scrap into gold.
