In November 2008, the famous Italian yacht making concern Cantieri di Baia (Baia) unveiled the first superyacht called the Baia One Hundred. Baia One Hundred was built in a shipyard in Naples. The brilliant team of ship designers from Baia had came up with the amazing concept of this super yacht while Carlo Galeazzi and Carlo Galeazzi were responsible for its engineering and styling respectively.

The unique design of superyacht Baia One Hundred would make it possible for you to enjoy the azure blue sky and the sparkling waters even while staying indoors because this sleek yacht has a crystal like structure covering it instead of usual hardtop cover. This sensational yacht has been especially designed with partitioning bulkheads, insulation and floating floors to keep the amount of noise and vibrations from the yacht to a minimum level while it is underway. You can enjoy a quiet time watching the sun-set or party with your friends on this beautifully decorated main salon that opens upwards to the foredeck.

Baia One hundred is a super speed yacht which would just cruise past the blue waters with its 2 x 2430 Hp MTU diesel engines with Arneson drive transmission. With this existing propulsion configuration, Baia One Hundred would be able to cruise a range of 500 nautical miles at 37 knots. However, if you are still not satisfied you might install other propulsion configurations that could boost the top speed to 50 knots.

This elegantly designed Baia One Hundred is the finest example of Baia’s ‘Open Cruiser’ model which boasts of an eclectic blend of strong sporting lines and open layout with supremely luxurious interior. It is quite sure that when you travel across in the superyacht Baia One Hundred, you might find hordes of people gawking at you.

Project H Design is a social service organization which is endeavoring tirelessly to bring humanity, habitat, happiness and heath to people round the world. This non profit organization has recently come up with an amazing design concept which would revolutionize teaching methods around the world. Learning through stereotyped bookish lessons and stereotyped learning methods can become quite boring for children This truly enlightening concept materialized by Project H Design is that of a learning landscape to teach math to the children.

This amazing design for a learning landscape to teach small children was conceptualized by Dan Grossman and Heleen de Goey. The first learning landscape was built by Project Design H in January 2009 for the students of Kutamba AIDS Orphan school of Uganda. However, new concept of a learning landscape would not only help the impoverished children of that particular school of Uganda but that would make learning more fun and interesting for children all round the world. This is quite a cost effective method too.

This learning landscape uses scarps like discarded car tires to make a grid in the play ground of a school. This grid of tires embedded in the school play ground can be used and adapted to play array mathematical games and enhance the math skills of children between the age group of 6-11. These math games have been specifically designed to teach the basic methods of addition, multiplication, division and subtraction to primary school children. The different math games that can be played with the help of this learning landscape are quite flexible and more and more games can be improvised and added to over time.

Some of the few math games played around this learning landscape which are already proving to be quite attractive for the children are ‘Math musical chairs’ ‘Around the world’ ‘Which one is missing’, etc. The new design concept of a learning landscape   brought forward by Project H design would surely help innumerable children to learn the basic mathematical skills in a stress free way.

The passengers of this mammoth yacht may get a sneaky feeling from time to time that they may become dinner. I can understand why. ?The yacht, which is currently just a concept, is shaped like an undersea fish with a gaping mouth.

The yacht will accommodate 12 guests in extroadinary comfort and will cruise at a speed of 25 knots.

Roofus is a radio-controlled snow plow designed to remove snow from roofs of buildings (thus, the name Roof-us) where it would be particularly risky for a human to do so.  Personally, I would like to employ it for my driveway during the winter and sit back with a warm coffee, directing it’s efforts.

Roofus also has additional attachments for use in seasons other than the winter, converting it to a remote-controlled lawnmower, or cleaning machine.

Roofus ranked in the top twenty among 300 entries at the International Design Competition 2007/JDF in Osaka.

Russian designer Nikolay Suslov has designed a disposable bed for the homeless that can be quickly assembled and produced at an acceptable minimal cost.

The sleek design shades the head of the person sleeping in the bed and keeps them 7.9 inches off of the ground, isolating them from moisture and transfer of ground temperature.

The suspension-oriented design should provide a comfortable, if not springy, recline.

The bed can also be used like a chaise for attending outdoor events such as concerts and sports events.

Recently in the Netherlands, the worlds largest biomass power plant has opened. It’s capable to producing 270 million kWh of electricity a year, which has enough power to deliver electricity to 80,000 homes.

Whats great about using chicken manure is that there is no release of methane gas which means this biomass powerplant is “carbon natural.”

This new power plant will contain 440,000 tons of chicken manure a year, which is about a third of whats of what’s produced in the Netherlands. This way chicken manure can go to a good cause instead of polluting the Netherlands and the surrounding countries.

It’s a revolutionary design that holds in cool air to keep the athletes fresh. Also due to the cashing on the ground the overall sound will be an improved as well. With a capacity to seat 11000 this idea could become a reality in 2010.

It has an embed Coleman cooler that fits perfectly inside the rotating wheel, so you no longer have to carry your cooler around. Introducing the Shadow Caddy, a fully autonomous golf club carrying cart that trails behind you automatically. The three-wheeled cart works by following a signal from a transmitter worn on the golfer’s body. Switching the caddy’s setting from “Follow-Me” to “Park” makes sure it never accidentally follows you into a bunker or onto the green.

As of now, trials are being run in a few golf courses in Australia. One reason why this concept is so great it because it’s a clever design, but will also be cheaper renting then a 16 year old snotty kid.
