Here and there you’ll see concepts that although look amazing, they still seem unrealistic. Here are 5 simple designs that will have you saying, “I wish i had thought of that.”

1. Foot Dustpan

Everyone who’s dusted knows that there’s no easy way of doing it. You’re either straining your back trying to hold the dustpan down, or you trying to sweep dust into a moving dustpan. Well here is an incredibly simple design by Mathias Lange that saves your back, and makes your life much easier.

2. Nail Assist

Some people just can’t hammer a nail if their life depended on it. It’s especially frustrating when you’ve got a very important project and before you know it you’ve got to take out bent nails, and try to patch the holes that your bent nails were supposed to go. All you have to do is insert the nail inside the guide tube. Position the tube where you want the nail to be. The large top makes it much easier to manage a hammer slamming down on it. It also protects your precious and very useful fingers.

3. Dog bowl and placement all in one

A classic example of a brilliant simple design. A placemat that suctions itself to the dog bowl so nothing will ever spill, and the dog bowl will never get moved across the kitchen. The molded shape creates a suction keeping it from slipping while lifting the bowl high enough for doggie to eat.

4. Roundup – Hose Wheel

This all-in-one unit allows the user to unroll and rewind the garden hose without having to pull or touch the hose. The Hose Wheel moves to where your focus is so you’ll never have to deal with tangles lines, or dirty hands. The short hose feature allows the user to reach the distance of a seventy-five foot garden hose while only having to deal with six. Though the concept shows a shorter length of hose being used, longer lengths could be used to suit the needs and wants of the user.

5. Magneto Shelves

Everyone knows what a magnet is, but not many people have heard of magnetic shelves. These shelves contain between one and three neodymium magnets, which are very powerful and allow for a strong connection to your fridge or whiteboard.
