We’ve seen a prototype like this about a year ago by Microsoft that introduced the life like ‘Desk’top changing the whole format of compiling information. Well yesterday at the Stanford Cool Product Expo, BumpTop introduced their new touchscreen 3D desktop. One great thing about the BumpTop concept is that it requires no special hardware and can be run an any computer.
You can use it with your mouse, or two mice to emulate a multitouch display. ‘Course, ideally you’d have a touchscreen to get the most out of the system, and by the time BumpTop launches later this year, hopefully we’ll have some affordable touchscreen computing platforms to choose from.
If you would like to become a Beta tester you can sign up at the BumpTop official website.
